More components have been moved to core in preparation for a preview release. This preview release will not be comprehensive; however, it will be usable. It will be compatible with Zend Framework 1.5 SVN. Documentation and tests will be limited during this time as we restructure the docbook and test design. |

Zym_Notification and Zym_Controller_Action_Abstract are now a part of the core! The online reference guide has been updated to include basic documentation for these two components. As always feedback is greatly appreciated. Have fun with these two! |

It is my pleasure to announce that Zym_Paginate is now available in the core! Documentation is available, but still needs a lot of love and attention. There's one more paginating part still left in the incubator (Zym_Paginate_DbTable), because it's not unit tested yet. Still, please feel free to give it a try. Enjoy! Update 03-10-2008: Zym_Paginate_DbTable is available in the core |

Zym's first component is now available in the core! The honor of being the first component in the core goes to Zym_Db_Table_Abstract. You can read more about it in the reference guide. |

So I thought I'd give you all a little update on how Zym's doing. That... and I don't like a Under Construction post to be the only thing on the main page ;) For the past few days Geoffrey and I have been busy setting up this site, writing documentation and of course writing a good amount of code. Things are starting to take some shape! There's a link to our Trac install, some information on how to join us on IRC and the incubator's API documentation is online (although they are subject to heavy change...). Behind the scenes I've been busy discussing and refining Zym_Notification with Eric Coleman. When I've finished its unit tests and documentation I'm planning on moving it to the core library! Well that's it for this update. Thanks go out to everybody who took the time to provide us with feedback. And don't forget to join us on IRC: #zym at irc.freenode.net! |
